Description
Merlot is a dry red wine, which flies the flag for Sarica-Niculiţel Vineyard. It has a purple hue, is astringent and tannic, imposing itself by the softness that only the finest wines have. The delicate scent and flavour are reminiscent of those of forest fruits. As it grows older, Merlot develops an aromatic bouquet and persistent aftertaste.

It can be associated with red meat dishes (beef, pork, lamb) or sharp cheeses.

SC Alcovin SRL is the official supplier of Romanian Royal House.
Newly planted vineyards are the result of fruitful collaboration with renowned vine nurseries in Italy and France. Latest technologies available were applied from plantation and establishment of the vineyards until grapes processing. Final result – marvelous quality Romanian wine.
Among the grapes varieties being grown, one can mention: Aligoté , Feteasca Regala, Feteascã Alba, Sauvignon Blanc , Muscat Ottonel, Tãmâioasã Romaneasca, Italian Riesling, Chardonnay, Merlot, Pinot Noir, Cabernet Sauvignon, Petit Verdot, Shiraz , Feteascã Neagra and Viognier.
