ORIGIN:
Busuioaca de Bohotin is a representative, authentic, and emblematic wine for the Huși vineyard. This rosé wine, with its salmon-colored hue, captivates with its delicate rose fragrance. Upon tasting, one can discern strong fruity aromas of strawberry and raspberry. The well-integrated acidity contributes to the wine’s perfect balance. The aftertaste is long and aromatic, with hints of ripe pears and subtle notes of basil.
MAKING PROGRESS:
The grapes were mechanically harvested, followed by maceration at low temperatures and cold pressing. Fermentation of the must occurred in stainless steel vats at controlled temperatures.
TASTING:
For optimal enjoyment, serve well chilled at 8-10⁰C. Busuioaca de Bohotin pairs wonderfully with desserts, sweet pastries, fruits, cheeses, and lightly spiced foods.

Averesti Busioaca de Bohotin
Harvest: The grapes were harvested in two stages, characterized by different levels of ripeness.
Vinification: The grapes were mechanically harvested. They were then macerated at low temperatures and cold pressed. Fermentation of the must took place in stainless steel vats at controlled temperatures.
Manifest: At Averești, we have chosen to restore the well-deserved reputation of the Huși vineyard. Recognizing the fruit of the land and the historical significance of this place, we proudly present a series of wines under the “Classic” collection, featuring some of the most beloved grape varieties.
This collection comprises four wines, each vinified as demi-sweet, using grape varieties cherished by Romanian consumers: Busuioaca de Bohotin, Tamaioasă Românească, Fetească Neagră, and a Rosé.
