Non-Chill filtered & finished in hand selected 225L European oak barrels previously holding French Burgundy wine. Deep copper in colour this whisky has notes of oak, berries, honey, and vanilla with a lingering sweet full-bodied taste compounded by having spent its initial three years in 53- gallon 1st fill American white oak ex-Kentucky bourbon barrels.

Carpathian Single Malt
Somewhere deep in the Subcarpathian hills, along narrow paths embracing the riverbanks, where immense ancestral forests meet green grassy plains, a family distills and perfects the art of maturation to skillfully produce Carpathian Single Malt.
Our malted barley is 100% produced in Romania, together with the pure water from the Subcarpathian hills. Our single malt whisky is distilled using the traditional Scottish method of double distillation, then matured in Kentucky Bourbon barrels and finished in wine and cognac casks. All these characteristics give Carpathian Single Malt whisky an exceptional and unique character.
