This Carpathian Single Malt expression is a double distilled whisky, matured for three years initially in a 53-gallon 1st fill exKentucky bourbon barrels of white American oak this whisky was then carefully transferred to a 500L Spanish sherry barrel previously holding Pedro Ximénez for many years.

Carpathian Single Malt
Somewhere deep in the Subcarpathian hills, along narrow paths embracing the riverbanks, where immense ancestral forests meet green grassy plains, a family distills and perfects the art of maturation to skillfully produce Carpathian Single Malt.
Our malted barley is 100% produced in Romania, together with the pure water from the Subcarpathian hills. Our single malt whisky is distilled using the traditional Scottish method of double distillation, then matured in Kentucky Bourbon barrels and finished in wine and cognac casks. All these characteristics give Carpathian Single Malt whisky an exceptional and unique character.
