This Single Malt was finished in 200 l oak barrels that had previously rested specific Greek wine, Vradiano. Vradiano is a wine that influences whisky with its balanced vanilla notes. Previously, it benefited from a first maturation for three years, in American white oak ex-Kentucky bourbon barrels, at the first filling, capacity 53 gallons.

Carpathian Single Malt
Somewhere deep in the Subcarpathian hills, along narrow paths embracing the riverbanks, where immense ancestral forests meet green grassy plains, a family distills and perfects the art of maturation to skillfully produce Carpathian Single Malt.
Our malted barley is 100% produced in Romania, together with the pure water from the Subcarpathian hills. Our single malt whisky is distilled using the traditional Scottish method of double distillation, then matured in Kentucky Bourbon barrels and finished in wine and cognac casks. All these characteristics give Carpathian Single Malt whisky an exceptional and unique character.
