ORIGIN:
Șarba is a Romanian grape variety obtained through the crossbreeding of two grape varieties: Tămâioasă Românească and Italian Riesling. Both aromatically and on the palate, it reveals intense notes of rose, basil, linden flowers, and honey, all delicately and persistently present in both taste and aftertaste. It is a semi-aromatic variety, resulting in a wine that is light, slightly acidic, fresh, and recommended to be enjoyed when young.
TASTING:
With a lively pale yellow hue, this wine unveils an enticing bouquet of rose, peach, enriched with subtle notes of mango and papaya. The taste is fresh, well-balanced, with a medium-bodied profile, offering a pleasant experience, and a refreshing aftertaste complements the overall flavor palette. Folklore Mosii de Iarna Sarba White Wine
On Saturday, before the Sunday which marks the beginning of the fasting period, we make the remembrance of the dead, for on the following Sunday, the Church ordered to remember the Frightened Judgment and the Second Coming of the Lord. ‘Mosii de iarna’ thus marks the celebration of the ones that passed away. Because many Christians died without preparation or without the necessary repentance, the Church makes intercession for all of them to enjoy eternal happiness on this day.
