Averesti Diamond Busuioaca Blanc de Rose

0 out of 5

TECHNICAL INFORMATION:

  • Type: Dry
  • Alcohol: 13%
  • Color: White
  • Oak aging: No

ORIGIN:

The philosophy of AVEREȘTI wine is the key word that designates not just any Busuioaca, but only the original one, which has enjoyed the recognition of specialists and amateurs for decades (some say even centuries). Here the Busuioaca grapes have found the best soil and climate conditions to express themselves tastefully and aromatically in a unique way - often imitated but never equalled.
MAKING PROGRESS:
Grapes harvesting was done by hand, from carefully selected plots, in the early hours of the morning to benefit from a low temperature. To obtain Busuioacea vinified in white, the whole vinification process was carried out at low temperatures. The freshly picked grapes were covered with dry ice to lower their temperature and then left for 12 hours in the cold (0 -1⁰C). The grapes were pressed whole for a very short time.
TASTING:
The special character of this wine is unique, incomparable. Its exotic fruit flavors (passion fruit, papaya, melon) are wrapped in green basil. Taste-wise, green basil dominates in this wine which captivates you with its firm body supported by a pleasant acidity which helps it to have a long aftertaste. Serving: This wine offers a totally different experience for the senses. Its unique and incomparable character makes it suitable for any time of the day and for a variety of culinary dishes. Its exotic flavors and balanced taste perfectly complement fish and seafood dishes. Experience the harmony of delicate white meat flavors and rich aromas of this wine or turn a cheese platter into a sophisticated culinary experience with this wine.

Averesti Diamond Zghihara de Averesti

0 out of 5

TECHNICAL INFORMATION:

  • Type: Dry
  • Alcohol: 13%
  • Color: White
  • Oak aging: No

ORIGIN:

Zghihara is an authentic Romanian variety whose history begins many centuries before the phylloxera invasion. Its very name shows its belonging to the area of Moldavia, more precisely Huși because when we refer to this variety we can only say that it is zghihăț (zglobiu), it wins you over by its simplicity, but also by the refinement gained thanks to the care with which, at our Averești Estate, this variety is vinified. Zghiharei grapes are very resistant to frost, drought, manna, they ripen later, at the end of September, beginning of October, without a very high concentration of sugar, consequently the resulting wine rarely exceeds 12.5% alcohol by volume."
MAKING PROGRESS: Grapes were harvested in the morning until 10 o'clock, by hand with great care, at a sugar content of 195g/l., then destemmed without crushing. The grapes were cooled to a temperature of 10°C and then macerated in the press for 6 hours. The grapes were harvested by hand. The grapes were macerated at low temperatures, and the pressing was done cold. Fermentation of the must took place in stainless steel vessels at controlled temperatures. TASTING: Zghihară wine is a zghihăt (Playful) wine, where the high acidity blends very well with the full and refreshing taste in which we find fruity notes of green apple, gooseberries, but also vegetal traces of green bell pepper and fennel. The aftertaste is short to medium, mineral, with a citric and slightly bitter finish with traces of apricot kernels. Serve well chilled (8-10°C), it can be enjoyed at any time of the day, both as an aperitif and as an accompaniment to fish dishes, seafood, white meat, as well as dishes with soft-ripened cheeses.

Averesti Nativ Zghihara de Averesti

0 out of 5

TECHNICAL INFORMATION:

  • Type: Dry
  • Alcohol: 13,5%
  • Color: White
  • Oak aging: No

ORIGIN:

The philosophy of Zghihara wine is a special variety, a wild noble whose strong personality and stingy nature, settled in the land of Huși thousands of years ago, has perfected a wine that stands out from the classical patterns. MAKING PROGRESS: Grapes were harvested by hand with great care, at a sugar content of minimum 195g/l., then destemmed without crushing. The grapes were cooled to a temperature of 10°C and then macerated in the press for 6-8 hours. The must is obtained in a controlled atmosphere using a short, low-pressure pressing cycle. Decanting of the must was done gravitationally, cold. The must was fermented in stainless steel tanks at a controlled temperature, and the young wine obtained was kept on fine lees storage until March to gain structure and volume. TASTING: Pleasant but discreet aromas of green apples, lime, and gooseberries. Lively, fresh, and fruity, with light hints of marjoram and a mineral aftertaste, this is your everyday wine. Serve well chilled (8-10⁰C), good paired with white meat poultry, preferably partridge or fish, seafood.
