ORIGIN:
Fetească Neagră (or Black Maiden in English) is an old native variety that originates from Moldova and Muntenia and again is capable of producing some great wines of deep color although the vine needs constant care. The later the grapes are picked the better the results and a constant trimming programme to arrest the vigour produce excellent results. Fetească Neagră is a bramble fruited red with hints of soft cherry. It can vary greatly depending on terroir and oak influence, some can be earthy while others can boast flavours of cappuccino and vanilla.
WINE MAKING PROCESS:
Grapes harvested manually from plantations established in 2003-2004, in third top of the slope, the slope of 25-40%, with southern exposure. 40% of the amount was vinified in concrete pots, then this amount being matured for eight months in French wooden barrels of 1-3 years, the other amount was matured in stainless steel tanks. Assembly was made after maturation.
TASTING:
Clear, intense red with violet hues, intense spices aromas (black pepper), vanilla and notes of guince and ripe red fruits. Dry, full-bodied and well-balanced, with soft tannins and aromas of red fruit (blackberries and blueberries), with a persistent finish. It is reccommended to be served at the temperature of 17-18°C. One may serve it with red meat dishes (lamb, beef, venison), spicy dishes and matured cheese.
Dominion Dracula Shiraz Red Wine 2021

ORIGIN:
The wine is prepared entirely from grapes of Shiraz variety coming from the vineyards located in Dealu Mare region - Romania, the seventh largest country producer of grapes in the world
WINE MAKING PROCESS:
The grapes are hand picked at full ripeness. Before fermentation the grapes are given 3 days cold soak on the skins at 10°C giving this wine its fruity and spicy properties. Fermentation is carried out in stainless steel tanks with recirculation, at maximum temperature of 28°C, for 20 days. 30% of the wine is placed in American oak barrels for 5 months before blended back with the rest of the wine.
TASTING:
Beautiful dark purple in color with blackberry and black currant aromas and notes of spice. A mixture of fruit and black pepper on the palate, soft and well balanced wine with a long fruity aftertaste. It is recommended to be served at the temperature of 18-20°C accompanied by spicy dishes, stakes, sausages, grills and seasoned cheese.
Legend of Dracula Merlot 2014

ORIGIN: The wine is prepared entirely from grapes of Merlot variety coming from the Dealu Mare which is the homeland of red wines in Romania, the seventh largest country producer of grapes in the world.
WINE MAKING PROCESS: The grapes were carefully selected in the vineyard and also at the cellar on sorting tables before being crushed and stalks removed. The fermentation lasted approximately ten days and was followed by an additional 10-12 days of skin contact. After being run off its skins, the wine went into largeoak barrels for the malolactic fermentation, which finished spontaneously by the end of the year. The separate lots of wine were then racked and, aged separately in barrel on the basis of the various vineyard provenances; the barrels, coopered from Hungarian and Slavonian oak, were of different capacity, 225, 5000 and 7500 litters. The total aging period lasted 10 months before bottling, and a further six month period of bottle aging preceded commercial release
TASTING: Attractive ruby red with violet iridescence. Very pleasant fruity aromas reminiscent of blueberries and blackberries. On the palate is smooth and well balanced with a savory aftertaste. It is recommended to be served at 16°C. It will be well suited to everyday easy meals, burgers, pizza, chicken with tomatoes and onion or sausages.
Legend of Dracula Pinot Noir Red Wine 2014

ORIGIN: The wine is prepared entirely from grapes of Pinot Noir variety coming from the Dealu Mare which is the homeland of red wines in Romania, the seventh largest country producer of grapes in the world.
WINE MAKING PROCESS: Grapes were harvested on the first days of September at full maturity. The grapes were destemmed without crushing followed by 48 hours cold soaking. Temperature controlled alcoholic fermentation at about 22°C occurred in stainless steel closed tanks with gentle cap management by punching down the skin. Wild malolactic fermentation.
TASTING: Bright red with an intense note of red berries and dark chocolate. Soft and delicate, medium body with some tannins and vanilla on the palate. It is recommended to be served at 16-18°C, along with poultry, Bolognese pasta, Moroccan and Lebanese food, Brie or Camembert.
