Initially matured in 200L select Kentucky bourbon barrels this whisky was then transferred to 225L Ruby Port casks made of European oak from the Douro valley, Portugal. Ruby port imparts sweetness with notes of red fruits which compliments the vanilla of the bourbon barrel perfectly.

Carpathian Single Malt
Somewhere deep in the Subcarpathian hills, along narrow paths embracing the riverbanks, where immense ancestral forests meet green grassy plains, a family distills and perfects the art of maturation to skillfully produce Carpathian Single Malt.
Our malted barley is 100% produced in Romania, together with the pure water from the Subcarpathian hills. Our single malt whisky is distilled using the traditional Scottish method of double distillation, then matured in Kentucky Bourbon barrels and finished in wine and cognac casks. All these characteristics give Carpathian Single Malt whisky an exceptional and unique character.
