DETAILS:
Bottled at 46% abv and non-chill filtered to retain maximum flavour this expression of Carpathian Single Malt has spicy notes of cinnamon with a sweet candy taste ending in a long complex finish on the palate with its deep copper colour obtained by finishing in a 500L Portuguese Tawny Port cask, hand selected by our Master Distiller. Again, this expression was previously matured in a 53-gallon 1st fill American white oak ex -Kentucky bourbon barrels.

Carpathian Single Malt
Somewhere deep in the Subcarpathian hills, along narrow paths embracing the riverbanks, where immense ancestral forests meet green grassy plains, a family distills and perfects the art of maturation to skillfully produce Carpathian Single Malt.
Our malted barley is 100% produced in Romania, together with the pure water from the Subcarpathian hills. Our single malt whisky is distilled using the traditional Scottish method of double distillation, then matured in Kentucky Bourbon barrels and finished in wine and cognac casks. All these characteristics give Carpathian Single Malt whisky an exceptional and unique character.
