Bostavan Vineyard by Transylvania Wine
Bostavan is a Moldovan vineyard with 600 ha vineyards in the micro-zones of Onesti and Etulia, Moldova, specialized in the production of wines from the average and medium price segment;
Vineyard locations: 74 hectares in Onesti micro-zone, part of the Codru-controlled region (Center). 500 hectares in Etulia micro-zone, part of the controlled region Trajan’s valley (South)).
Total area of the winery: 600 hectares
White vines: Chardonnay, Muscat, Savignon Blanc, Aligote, Pignot Gris and Tramminer.
Red vines: Caberbet Savignon, Merlot, Pinot Noir, Saperavi and Cabernet Franc.
Winemaking:
White wines are fermented in stainless steel tanks under controlled thermal regime and maturated for up to 6 months in oak barrels. Red wines are fermented in oak barrels under controlled heat regime and matured for 6-12 months in oak barriques.
Production capacity (9000m2):
– 2 modern bottling lines with a capacity of 12,000 bottles per hour;
– 2 filling lines with the capacity of 560 pieces per hour;
Processing capacity: 20 000 tons of grapes per season
Storage capacity: 15 million litres of wine
