Carpathian SingleMalt by Transylvania Wine
To bring Carpathian Single Malt to life, we needed a master distiller: an artist and a master who could harness the flavorful malt from this land, harmonize it with the pure Subcarpathian waters, and utilize their skill, knowledge, and decades of experience to craft this unique single malt. That man is Allan Anderson, a master distiller with Scottish and Irish heritage and 30 years of experience in whiskey production, both Scottish and Irish.
The combination of Scottish know-how, Romanian malt (of similar quality to Scottish), pure Subcarpathian water, and superb wine casks makes Romania a perfect country to produce high-quality Single Malt, soon to be discovered by enthusiasts.
Inspiration
That evening, as we strolled, we wondered why the streets were empty, with no one around. The reason was quickly revealed to us when a restaurant owner hurried to tell me that a brown bear and her cubs were searching for food and showed me the footprints in the snow. Then, I realized that this is yet another wild and untamed part of the world, perfect for creating Carpathian Single Malt, just as my Scottish ancestors did many centuries ago, in the mountains of Scotland…
